Christmas Cake
Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 200gm Powdered Sugar
- 200gm Butter
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 300gm White Flour
- 400gm Mixed Dry Fruits
- 50ml Orange Juice
- 100ml Rum/Cherry Brandy
Instructions
- Take a large saucepan pan and add the butter, sugar, dried mixed fruit, orange juice and rum.
- Heat on a medium heat until the mixture comes to a gentle bubble, stirring occasionally
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. And add the mixture to it. Mix well.
- Add the white flour. Mix well & make sure to break any lumps.
- Pre-heat oven for 5 minutes at 175°C.
- Grease a baking tray & add the cake batter into it.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes at 175°C.
